NEL-ECO Consultants Company Ltd is a registered environmental consulting firm licensed by the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) as an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Audit (EA) Expert. We serve customer needs in environmental management systems and operate within an ISO 9002 Quality Management System framework.
Registered under the Companies Act Cap 486 of the Laws of Kenya, our technical work is performed in accordance with statutory requirements and published codes of practice to support sustainable development.

Professional Overview
Ms. Nelly Chepwogen is an acclaimed environmentalist and climate change champion in Kenya. In addition to managing the daily strategic operations of NEL-ECO, she serves as the Principal Environment and Climate Change Officer for Bomet Municipality, where she leads local climate adaptation, resilience policy development, and regulatory reviews.
Throughout her career, she has spearheaded environmental compliance assessments for diverse developments, including municipal waste management systems, major roadways, bridges, housing complexes, and corporate environmental audits.
